Ropes Course at Mt. Hermon    September 2

The Team Leadership Building Course at  Mt. Hermon begins with morning games and exercises which teach students not only to develop strategies to work together for common goals - but also to rely on each other  and build trust. Games include everything from simulation of "emergency room" operations on rubber duckies to walking a balance log. In the afternoon, students can accept the challenge of climbing the redwoods and walking a ropes course culminating in the "leap of faith"  where students climb a redwood, balance on a thin board platform then leap out to catch a trapeze suspended above them.
How do you get all your team members onto the island without dropping them?
Look's like it's working....

After morning warm-ups. students proceed to the ropes course area and learn to buckle up their harnesses. Some are looking decidedly nervous.
We're building up to the ropes course...
This looks kind of hairy.. If she can do it, I can do it...
